JRACraft Day is a one-day showcase for artists who are members of the James Renwick Alliance for Craft, a Smithsonian-affiliated craft advocacy group in the nation's capital. The event features artists from top tier shows like the Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show and the American Craft Council.
JRACraft Day is sponsored by the James Renwick Alliance for Craft, which celebrates and advances American Craft and craft artists by fostering education, connoisseurship, and public appreciation through programs, educational trips, publications, and recognition of excellence in the field. In addition, JRACraft provides support for craft artists and museums, including the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
2024 is my first year at JRACraft Day, and the setup is going to be tricky. With only a 6' table instead of my usual 10x10' booth, I will have to redesign my offerings for a much smaller display space.
