Description
Size: 1″ tall x 17.5″ long x 5.5″ wide
Construction: The glass cylinders in this bowl are sections individually cut from hand-pulled glass cane, which I create by heating glass to 1500 degrees and pulling it into rods while molten in a modern-day adaptation of the 16th century techniques of the Murano glassmakers. They are surrounded by hundreds of narrow strips of glass, turned on edge to display the cross-sections of the glass sheet composed of chocolate-hued glass streaks pressed into a base of creamy vanilla glass.
Shipping is free. Shipments are insured and sent within a few days of purchase. I ship to the United States. See the shipping policy for more details about shipping and exchanges.
Buying a gift? Let me send it for you. Artwork can be shipped anywhere in the United States, and you can enter a gift message at checkout to be included in the package.
Handle gently. My work is food safe, but intended for display and loving gazes. Hand wash only, with liquid soap, glass cleaner, or isopropyl alcohol. Neither dishwasher-safe nor microwave-safe.
Finding the right size stand can be a process of trial and error! To display your platter standing up, I recommend the 6″ size of this acrylic stand from The Container Store.
