Sunset on the Water
Sky blue oval glass bowl with black ripples, and an abstract grid of glowing sunset orange lines. Glass elements are hand cut and stacked, heated to 1500°F in a brick kiln and carefully cooled. In a second firing, the glass slab is suspended in the kiln and allowed to free fall until it reaches the desired shape, then the rim is removed and polished with successively finer grits of diamonds on a lapidary wheel.
